Kenna – Quick update 🙂

Just wanted to give an update on Kenna. It’s been a couple years now and she is still doing great. Very healthy, nice looking Berner she turned out to be. What a hairy monster when she’s shedding out – LOL. After a brushing I bring her on the small front deck and use the Leaf Blower on her to get the loose hair. Works good to clean her up after she rolls in the dirt too. She is still great tempered, not a barker unless playing. Very smart too, learns quickly. My parents usually take her to their house when I am working so she isn’t by herself long periods. Sometimes Mom will just come over and walk her a while.
I don’t know why but Kenna has always been afraid of boxes and packages. No matter how little too. I leave them around her, to help her get over it but she’s always leary of them. Even knows the sound of delivery trucks before I even hear them and drops her toys and stares in their direction, just waiting till they pull in and she heads the other way. I just can’t figure it out. I use it to my advantage, though. She digs a hole, I put a little box in it and she stops and stays away. Ha-Ha. Nothing else bothers her, not tractors, chainsaws, fireworks, thunder, nothing. But, pull out a little box and she is gone.
Anyway, thank you for such a great, healthy, purebred Bernese, it has made having her a great experience.
