Best experience ever

This is Banks! He is now a little over 4 months and the most amazing dog we could have ever asked for. Susan was top notch from beginning to end and answered any and every question we had. We first met our baby at 5 weeks and brought him home at 8 weeks. He is healthy and thriving and couldn’t imagine our life without him. I would recommend this breeder to anyone looking to add a Berner to your family.

Hi, my name is Barbie Quade. My husband Bill and I adopted our Koda, nine months ago from Aaron and Sue. From the first conversation, to the time we picked him up, was a very good experience. Susan always was so willing to talk to me and answer all my questions right away and although, she had a small baby at the time, if she couldn’t talk at that very moment, she, would always called me back ASAP.
We had a Berner and lost him during Thanksgiving and Christmas and never thought to find any dog quite as special as our Max. They look so much a like, people actually call him Max, but his disposition, is even better than our Max’s, which is truly amazing. Koda is the sweetest dog ever, and one of the most beautiful Bernice mountain dogs we have ever seen. People driving down the road, stop and ask where we got him. He is also, very trainable. People also asked where we had him trained.
I would most definetly recommend getting puppies from them.

Great Experience!!!

What can I say but true to their words and very responsive. We adopted Maverick on Nov 13th. We have never done a long distance adoption but Sue was FANTASTIC!! She set up a driver to meet us 1/2 way. Aaron, the driver was right in time and very affordable. Maverick came with all the necessary paperwork as promised and has been an absolute joy. We have a 10 1/2 year old Berner already and Maverick has fit right in. Sue followed up 3 weeks post delivery to check in Maverick and his transition to our home, his new food etc. They took an extra step and we truly appreciated.

We bought our first Bernese Mountain dog, Maggie, from Susan 7 months ago. We could not be happier. Maggie is such a great dog and loves people. We have had nothing but a great experience. Beautiful pup!

I bought a puppy from here about a year and a half ago and truly she is the most beautiful, well-tempered dog I’ve ever had. She’s had zero genetic health issues, and is overall a very healthy dog. Everywhere I take her (Olive), I get tons of compliments. I am so grateful for Olive and when I decide to add another berner to the family i will 100% be buying a dog from Unique Bernese. Love our puppy (Koda/Skip)

We got our first Bernese puppy from Unique Bernese puppies and we had a wonderful experience. From the first phone call to the visit to meet the puppies to finally bringing our puppy home. The puppies were all sweet and we love our new family member. Koda fit right in to our family and we could not have made a better choice. I would recommend this family owned breeder to anyone. We recently purchased a puppy from Unique Bernese. Our entire experience with them was excellent! The breeders are easy to work with, quick to relay information, always very responsive, and overall very kind people! We brought our puppy home at 8 weeks in excellent health and we could tell he was very well cared for. I would highly recommend Unique Bernese to anyone looking to add a puppy to their family!

Excellent experience

Susan and Aaron’s Bernese puppies are just beyond expectation. This is my first Bernese, nevermind dog, in a very long time. I knew what I was looking for as far as temperament, type, health, etc., but couldn’t pick in person. Susan was really great with my questions and I like that she prefers to speak with you rather than E-Mail. It is just better when acquiring an animal. She got me plenty of photos and even though I had a few setbacks with timeframe / transport, etc., we got everything worked out. I got Haven out of the February litter whom I renamed as Kenna. I can honestly say she is very secure, not shy or timid at all, which I attribute some of that to her upbringing with children, etc. She barely barks unless playing and does not bark or whine when left alone. She has a wonderful temperament, very intelligent, fast learner, etc. She loves everyone, including other animals. I can’t see her being a guard dog as she won’t bark at strangers LOL – everyone is a playmate to her. Her structure and joints are great so far, per my vet’s thorough examination due to the problems large breed dogs are prone to.
I think the bloodlines Unique Bernese works with are very good and I certainly recommend their puppies. Just do your homework on the breed and handling a new puppy and common problems, so you are prepared. If you get a puppy, the first week or two I’d advise just feeding a homemade rice, meat, pumpkin mix with some probiotic yogurt. And filtered water only. I did this to avoid any diarrhea from stress due to travel and a new environment. Worked perfectly. Though, when she arrived, she seemed like it was no big deal. No problem adjusting at all and she’s always slept through the night since day 1. Which was amazing. I really cannot say enough. Sue and Aaron’s Bernese really are Unique ! Fitting name.
